Dech Psy/Prog the way it should be top notch stuff!

tmfult These guys have out done themselves, holy shit this is incredible. Their first album was quite good, but they've improved on literally everything here to carve out a truly unique work of art here.

THIS is what happens when you support and invest in independent musicians, they grow and give you something that is this goddamn good. Favorite track: Offer.
Alienmold

Alienmold This album escapes categorization. It's an experimental adventure that touches on a giant variety of genres and sounds. While at times it can drag, it more than makes up for those misses with ambition and a whole bunch of successful hits.

creakycranky It never gets old, got a bit of everything! Favorite track: Organic Hard Drive.
ChD

ChD It's impossible to select my favorite track for an album that flows as well as this. I barely even know the individual song titles, because the song is "Lucid Planet II" and it's an hour and eight minutes long. 10/10

'Lucid Planet II' is the long-awaited sophomore album from independent Australian psychedelic/progressive rock band Lucid Planet. Weaving heavy riffs and atmospheric soundscapes with tribal beats and psychedelic bass music, this album deep-dives into the band's signature sound with a decidedly progressive approach. The outcome is a musical journey both classic and dynamic; a singular and cohesive work.

Anamnesis 12:24
- LYRICS - Our connection breaks, buried beneath what we were So much at stake, no more to give Our conscience bears every broken scar Let memories fade No more to gain, count what we've lost Again from the start or are we too late To forget what we've made and become who we are Or will we let this escape? Now perceptions change, unveiling all untruth Distance between so far, uncertainty so strong To say that's the way it is, this is what we've got Is just not enough Are we drowning Lost, unclear Or realising time has seen this through Recede or to Concede and Say that I’ll bare it all Forgive this worn retort But God, there’s nothing left for us here I'll be there Tomorrow can't be seen Embrace what may rise Push through on the other side Enter the unknown (We'll see this through) Bring truth to what can be (with who we'll be) Embark without fear (without fear) Face yourself on the other side (You know that) I'll be there (I’ll be there) Tomorrow can't be seen (Cannot be seen) Embracing what may rise (What may rise) In light while we’re alive

Entrancement 05:33
- LYRICS - My child, don't you cry You are on your way to me Wooden pyre, stack it higher And on your way up ask, is anyone really free? You will follow cheap advice You will swallow every lie Follow what I preach to a T And only then may you speak Part the seas of thieves and liars Pulling strings on base desires A day may come when you stand and resist A day may come when all this shall cease But it won't be today Give your mind to me Living life always Afraid And until first steps you take Here is where you'll stay Down here
Only chance of escape Question all the way And there will come a day And there will come a day
3.
- LYRICS - A world inside of me That I’d rewrite to be free But with my head in my hands Will I cease to be Amnesia, the malady Blind will lead blind Unless we hold in our eye A need, a plea Don’t forget She won’t forget Sonder Wonder Around we go A lonely road To nowhere But why walk alone In dissonant apathy High time we Sync to one pulse
4.
Offer 04:14
- LYRICS - Light on the hill A chance to reconnect here by yourself A wall builds within If freedom’s past, a life, a chance To go my own way I want more than this has to offer I want more than this has to offer Lost and found again Embracing new horizons, foreign lands The time drawing near To make a choice, an inner voice To guide along the way I want more than this has to offer I want more than this has to offer Bright, a new day Reflections of the light inside The heart of Man Illuminates The darkest times and despaired minds A part for all to play
5.
On the Way 09:37
- LYRICS - Sold to me the mountains, the sea And the morning sun All between the lines that will read Of a tale uninspired Cold machine Life unseen It's a long way home The soul will seek a life complete On the long way home In the moment I saw The cost of illusions The need I had to run and hide Open and bare, softly Is what was needed then With all fear aside Slowly dissolving all the lies Breathe all this in Show me, remind me I won’t forget this time Now beneath these stars The way seems so clear
6.
- LYRICS - Enticed by design A world behind your eyes So sink right in Traversing time with Nothing but your mind A breakthrough or a lie Contrived of what’s not there Though with this time Know that you could Give us your all The insight your own
7.
Face the Sun 11:48
- LYRICS - Come on now, you're ready Forward escape Farewell Go light the way Or stay here Further Higher Lighter Face the sun You could have your golden chains They’d keep you safe in the dream they create But bound with quiet desperation You would take them to your grave Harder Longer Lonelier When you chase the sun But a wave of your own you would make Leave behind the world you’re sold and embrace Dreams untied from all expected aspiration Stoke the flame before it fades Fire set alight in time Reveals where you are Creating space for the new Gods in disguise Creators of our lives Salvation, self-defined Form the new world There's no better one to see Endowed with years to come But mind your wars ‘Cause fear is blind And there's still time To stray too far Your lie, your word Make your choice Endowed with years to come So mind your words As they can bind But there's still time To light the way Align with truth Face your choice Further Higher Brighter When you face the sun
8.
Zenith 09:55
- LYRICS - Oh and the world we’d create... Through the storm The mist There's new beginnings Stand reborn In the wind With so much to offer Reform In the wind With so much to offer Buried deep Cold self-beliefs Unfair standards and Honest failings It’s sad to see Your reality Descend into Unloving stories But always in reach A moment so free Unguarded you’ll face Your own self-deceit Words manifesting Reverberating So mind what you say ‘Cause you might be listening Of what chance to breathe at all Alive, home as just one While one of the whole To honour or claim indifference So lost within our own worlds We so often forget How much remains unseen Serving only self Alone, severing a tie Self-interest at the zenith Atone with a life's word A beacon to shine a light on What we’re capable of Untold, only time will show Will we lead or fall in line When all said and done How will you become One more to see it through Who will you be for us now As one under the same sun Bright enough to light up Our home, our divine connection A mirror, the reflection That we’ve known all along Are we strong enough To harden the will of our word

About 'Lucid Planet II':

"Our world is full of extraordinary magic, but it often exists alongside despair and discontent. We all carry our silent struggles like well-guarded secrets, kept inside and held alone. To cope with the suffering we construct lives around us, personalities and partnerships that buffer us from the world outside. However, over time, if we find that these paths no longer serve us, it is an act of courage to let go and allow ourselves to be vulnerable to change.

The classical concept of the 'hero's journey' describes the individual's path from suffering to transformation. But what if this is only a partial view of the human experience? If we take a step back, we see that our individual transformation is actually part of a greater narrative - a global transformation. Even our smallest actions are contributions to a brighter collective. The words you speak, the energy you encourage, the spirit of your work - these can be your art, your offering, your invitation for others to do the same.

Enter the unknown with your heart open and barriers down. We invite you into our new world where you are free to lose yourself in the journey, leave your burdens behind, and arise renewed on the other side."
